MLM Introducing: Diego (CL) & Adiel Mora - Gin Tonic [MLM001]

Diego Nuevo & Adiel Mora, both originally from Chile, started making music together in 2024 in Australia. The connection was instant - same vision, same groove.

Story behind the release:

‘Gin Tonic’ started right after I listened to Luciano b2b Ricardo Villalobos at Magik Garden in 2023. I was living in Melbourne, Australia at the time and heard the set through Luca Dea’s livestream. The moment it ended, I opened Ableton and began creating, fully inspired by the groove and energy of what I had just heard. As soon as the idea took shape, I knew I wanted to send it to Adiel, since he had been diving deeper into that Latin-influenced house sound. (Diego CL)

When Diego sent over the idea, we started playing around with the groove and everything clicked within a few sessions. It mixes our Latin roots with the house vibe we love playing in our sets. (Adiel Mora)

First place you played ‘Gin Tonic’ live:

The first time I played ‘Gin Tonic’ live was at Noches M in Valparaíso. It was a really special night because I hadn’t performed in Chile for two years. (Diego CL)

For me it was at one of our Glitch Society events in Gold Coast — the reaction was crazy, people connected with it right away. (Adiel Mora)

Most memorable Luciano moment:

My most memorable Luciano moment was seeing him play b2b with Sven Väth at Magik Garden in 2019. The energy of that night was incredible — it was one of those sets you never forget. (Diego CL)

Seeing Luciano b2b Marco Carola supporting the track and mentioning the energy behind it was surreal. (Adiel Mora)

What’s next:

I’m currently deep in the studio, making new music and experimenting with fresh sounds. I’m exploring different ideas with no rush, letting the music take shape naturally — and sharing it when it feels right. (Diego CL)

I’ve got a series of vinyl releases coming out on my label, Glitch Society Records. The sound blends the origins of house with strong Latin percussive influence and new-school minimal — fresh, dance-driven rhythms, nothing dark, all about movement and energy. I also have more than eight Glitch Society showcases confirmed across Australia, Indonesia, and Chile, pushing the label’s sound around the world. (Adiel Mora)
