MLM Introducing: Amedeo Picone - Me Beija [MLM005]

Amedeo Picone is a DJ and producer from Naples, Italy, who started making music at just 14 years old. He has been honing his sound, both behind the decks and in the studio.

Story behind the release: The creation of this EP was a lot of fun. I produced it partly in Naples and partly while flying from one trip to another, with the idea of creating a musical journey and a common thread between the tracks. This release contains a mix of emotions. With five tracks, the EP can almost be considered a mini-album, so I’m really happy with it.

First place you heard your release live: The first time I heard 'Me Beija' played live was at Amnesia. Luciano played it and seeing the dance floor jumping and enjoying it, was very emotional!

Most memorable Luciano moment: I first met Luciano last summer at Amnesia, the same time he played my release. He was very welcoming, he’s a very good person and this was definitely the most memorable moment for me. We also spent some time together in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where we both played at Soundstorm. During the festival it was really nice to share moments with him, he really is a great artist!

What’s next: 2026 will be a very busy year musically. My EP with Metamorfosi Records will be released on January 30 and I also have upcoming releases on Snatch!, Stereo Productions, NuSonido, Superfett, Low Ceiling, and more labels that I can’t reveal yet. The project continues with releasing a lot of new music and bringing my sound around the world as much as possible.
