MLM Introducing: Sambo - Sweet Dreams [MLM007]

Sambo is a Romanian producer who began making music around ten years ago. Wanting tracks that carried a different groove and feeling for his sets, he started creating his own. Over time, experimenting across sounds and genres, he found a style that felt natural...music to make you dance. 

Story behind the release: The funny story about ‘Sweet Dreams’ is that it wasn’t actually supposed to be a song in the first place. I had just finished arranging my new studio and was looking for the perfect sound. I started jamming and playing with different ideas, and when I managed to lock in the groove between the drums and the bass, it felt so unique and uplifting that I knew something was there. In just a couple of hours, I managed to wrap it up, and from that point, everything changed.

First place you heard your release live: Usually, I test new songs straight out of the studio. At a birthday bash for one of my friends, I had the warm-up slot, which is one of my favorites because it gives me the freedom to build the vibe for what’s coming next. I was really excited to play this track, so I built the end of my set around it. It was worth it, everybody was feeling it.

Most memorable Luciano moment: The B2B with Dennis Cruz at No Art Bucharest 2025. Being in the crowd and seeing everyone around me dancing to my song is a moment that will stick with me forever.

What’s next: 2026 is going to be a busy year. Right now, I’m producing the best music I’ve made so far and experimenting with many different sounds. I’m planning several releases that I’m very excited to share once everything is set, and one of the highlights will be returning to Machaca with a second EP.
