MLM Introducing: Matteo Dentone - Underground [MLM009]

Matteo Dentone, born in Livorno, Italy and now based in Ibiza, Spain, began producing music in 2020. Driven by the need to express himself beyond the DJ booth, he turned to production as a way to define his own artistic voice.

Story behind the release: ‘Underground’ was created in one day during a deep creative flow. From the start, the track felt naturally connected to Luciano’s hypnotic and minimal sound.

First place you heard your release live: I first played ‘Underground’ in Varese, Italy, at a Stay Closer event just two days after finishing it. The crowd reaction was immediate and very strong.

Most memorable Luciano moment: Hearing Luciano play ‘Underground’ during his Circoloco, Ibiza set was surreal. Speaking with him after the show and receiving his encouragement made it a defining moment in my journey.

What’s next: I have upcoming releases on Franky Rizardo’s LTF, Lapsus Music, and Too Many Rules, and recently achieved #1 on Beatport with a release on Deeperfect. A lot of new music and projects are developing here in Ibiza.
