MLM Introducing: Jeremias & Arias - Orquestral [MLM017]

Jeremias & Arias are a duo of Colombian producers/DJs based in Boston, defining their sound as a blend of minimal house and disco infused with latin roots. 

The Inspiration

We were inspired by the jazzy house of Jo Paciello which is a very calm style of house music, but we wanted to give it a little twist to make it more clubby, raw and underground. We used sample techniques, a lot of groove layers and that’s why the track feels so alive, theres a lot of different textures going on. We based this idea on a minimal foundation, textures over percussions, silence over loudness.

The Family

Joining the Machaca family is a massive milestone for us. Being welcomed into a label spearheaded by a true legend like Luciano, someone who has been a monumental inspiration to our artistic journey, is honestly a dream come true.

The Future

Following this release, we are highly anticipating our next project dropping on Posay, a label run by another absolute Chilean legend, André Butano. Beyond that, we are locked in the studio continuously evolving our sound. We also have 2 confirmed dates in New York, one of them at The Summer Club, Queens. As well as a very important release under Bassel Darwish’s label called FADE.
