MLM Introducing: dAPULEO - Sonder [MLM020]

dAPULEO is an Italian DJ and producer with a deep-rooted house music background, having spent years developing a sound of his own while staying connected to those foundations. He has shared the stage with house legends including Masters At Work, David Morales, Ron Trent and Todd Terry, experiences that have gone on to shape his musical journey. Today, his sound is energetic and groove-driven, blending timeless house influences with a fresh, modern edge and a clear focus on the dance floor.

The Inspiration

I wanted to create something made for peak-time moments on the dance floor, something full of energy that could immediately connect with the crowd. During the production process, I was really inspired by a jackin’ house vibe, which naturally shaped the groove and the overall feeling of the track.

I spent a lot of time chopping and manipulating samples to give the record its own character and make every element work together. Most importantly, I had a lot of fun creating this track, and I think that positive energy comes through in every second of it.

The Family

Joining the Machaca family means a lot to me. I’ve been following Luciano for many years. I’m from Naples, and he has played here countless times over the years, so I’ve always admired him both as an artist and as a performer. For me, Luciano represents celebration, energy and that unforgettable connection with the crowd.

I’ve also been following Machaca since its very first release and I’ve played many tracks from the label in my sets. Its musical direction perfectly matches my taste and the sound I love. Releasing on Machaca is a real honor and a dream come true! I’m incredibly proud to have reached this milestone, and I truly hope this is just the beginning of a long journey together.

The Future

The past few months have been incredibly exciting. I recently returned from Chicago, where I had the opportunity to perform at Chosen Few, one of the most iconic house music festivals in the world. It was an unforgettable experience and something I’ll always be grateful for. Over the next few months, I’ll be playing at several events across Naples and London, and I’ll also be returning to the United States later this year for more shows. There are a few other exciting projects in the works, but I’d rather keep them under wraps for now...maybe a little superstition!

When it comes to production, I’m constantly in the studio working on new music. I’m always creating, experimenting, and preparing new releases. I can’t wait to share what I’ve been working on in the months ahead.
